Challenges:
This project addresses the mental health challenges faced by athletes, particularly young sportsmen (18–25 years), who experience high stress levels due to competitive pressures. By enhancing the Stress-Pass app—a science-backed, multilingual (Hungarian/Finnish) tool—the consortium combines Data-Vita’s technical expertise in stress protocols with the Sports Institute’s athlete validation. The app uniquely personalizes interventions (e.g., vagus nerve exercises, psychoeducation) based on user profiles, filling a gap in athlete-specific mental wellness tools.
The solution aligns with EU priorities for healthy lifestyles (Call Challenge 17) and sports performance (Challenge 11). Pilots in Finland (Päijät-Häme/Uusimaa) and Hungary will validate its efficacy, leveraging wearable data and psychological feedback. The project fosters interregional collaboration, blending Hungarian digital innovation with Finnish sports science to create a scalable product for European markets. Post-project, the app targets B2C (subscriptions) and B2B (sports clubs) revenue models.
