Challenges:
4. Healthy lifestyles among youngsters
ActiVschool is an innovative project co-led by Factual Consulting from Catalunya, Spain, and MVP Sport Ltd. from Hungary (not Budapest, but the North Plain region, specifically Debrecen). The project aims to make cycling to school a safe, accessible, and appealing daily option for children and families by combining expert-led cycling education with a smart, community-based digital platform. In Debrecen, Hungary, ActiVschool introduces a structured bikebus service where children cycle in supervised groups along AI-verified safe routes. MVP Sport Ltd. leads the BeCyclist program, delivering cycling education and training for children and monitors, while Factual Consulting provides the Lane Patrol Community app and urban infrastructure expertise, using international methodologies like CycleRAP for data-driven route safety analysis and improvement recommendations
